Formed in Leeds in the early 1990s, A's third album "Hi-Fi Serious" was released in 2002 and spawned the Top 10 hit, "Nothing", and a further Top 20 hit with "Starbucks", named after the eponymous coffee chain. The album itself charted in the Top 20 and helped them win the coveted Kerrang! award for "Best British Band" that year.
