This book is designed to support teachers and students in preparing for the revised aural tests. It provides examples of the style and difficulty level of the new tests. Many practice examples are offered, with answers (where appropriate). Included is the revised syllabus description of the activity, complete with the examiners rubrics (the exact words the examiners use to deliver the tests in the exam). This enables the teacher to present the tests to their students in a way that mirrors the exam experience. The series presents a framework for teachers to devise their own exercises using material their students are currently working on, thus emphasizing the relevance of the tests to each student’s musical development.
